Calvin Fisher
Founding Partner
Calvin G. Fisher, Esq. is a founding partner of Movahed & Fisher Law, LLC. He graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Law. He is a longtime Frederick County resident whose family first settled in the county in the 1700s, and he is excited to help welcome the newest generation of Frederick County residents. Calvin speaks English and Spanish. Outside of the law, his passions include his wife, running, and data analysis.
Sara Movahed
Founding Partner
Sara Movahed, Esq. is a founding partner of Movahed & Fisher Law, LLC. Sara earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Law. She has published several articles and contributed to an immigration policy manuscript produced by the University of Maryland and the American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland. Sara speaks English, Farsi, and Spanish. In her free time she enjoys practicing mindful yoga.

ISABELLA APONTE
Paralegal
Isabella Aponte joined Movahed & Fisher Law in August 2020. She understands the hard work of immigrants as the daughter of immigrants herself. Isabella is currently working towards her degree in Criminal Justice and plans to attend law school to further help the immigrant community. Her attention to detail and understanding of immigration law enables her to best serve the clients at Movahed & Fisher Law. Isabella speaks English and Spanish fluently. During her free time, she enjoys singing, reading, and going to the gym.
